If you had to introduce yourself in three sentences to some SoulCalibur player who didn’t know you, what would you say?
– Hello!! I’m Karoline, a competitive SoulCalibur player from Brazil.
– I like to compete and new challenges.
– I play a little bit of everything, but my main thing is fighting games.
What is the origin or meaning of your nickname?
Karol is my name =]
How did it happen that you ended up playing fighting games?
I play video games since I was a kid and played fighting games more casually. I started playing the Soul franchise with SC4 but it was from SC6 that I started to dedicate myself more and play competitively
Who do you main in SC6 and why?
Taki. She is definitely my favorite. I really like the personality and the design of the character.
What is your opinion regarding SC6?
SC6 has numerous merits, the game showed quality in several aspects. The graphics are excellent and perform very well the mechanics that are proposed, both the characters and the stages are very detailed. Although they could improve the balance and hitboxes of some characters, but the game itself is very well done.
If you could change one single thing about SC6 what would that be?
I would like to improve the game’s netcode. It would be great if the game had cross play too.
What do you consider to be your greatest SC6 achievement and why?
My biggest achievement was winning the SCBR / SC Chile tournament, where I came from the losers bracket and managed to reset in the grand finals and won the tournament. It was an unforgettable experience, I met and faced great players.
