At first glance, KramFlakes is a random local player from the RWDY team. But on the second one, the things start to get interesting. He is young and hungry and hell, he is doing well even versus top players. Actually, he is doing so well several world-class players complimented him already.

If you had to introduce yourself in three sentences to some SoulCalibur player who didn’t know you, what would you say?
I’m a new school player who played SoulCalibur casually with friends before 6 came out. This is my first competitive FG and I had a great time with it! I have the most fun when I play against friends.
What is the origin or meaning of your nickname?
The origin of my nickname actually comes from the tom&jerry episode pecos pest. Uncle pecos sings and says “crambole” and it was stuck in my head for a while so I adopted part of that word and added flakes at the end because i like cereal.
How did it happen that you ended up playing fighting games?
I ended up playing a bunch of FG’s because my family loved that genre. I got to play a bunch of fighters like Street Fighter, MK, Smash bros, and the Namco fighters because of that.
Who do you main in SC6 and why?
I main Kilik because I loved the color red as a kid and thought the way he fought with the bo staff was flashy and awesome. Nowadays I play him to apply brahma to the forehead.
What is your opinion regarding SC6?
I think SC6 is a fun game and that more people should give it a try (even if they use CaS on ranked 🙄 ).
If you could change one single thing about SC6 what would that be?
I don’t think I have the experience yet to really decide on a huge change. Right now, the only thing I can think of are to add more moves (like kilik monument throws in stance 💡 )
What do you consider to be your greatest SC6 achievement and why?
My greatest achievement in SC6 is probably surviving PS4 online before the covid PC era hit.
Please answer a single question that you were not asked but you would like to answer!
My gateway to the community was kind of a slow start for me. I didn’t know anybody in my area that played FGs so going out to find other players was a little scary. I looked online and found an arcade called Otaku Cafe that had multiple tournaments for different games and saw SC6 was one of them, so I went over every now and then to find someone to play against. Eventually I show up one day and played in a round robin and met some of the older players, Chickenwing and Agustin. Soon after, I actually got a message from Nori to come out more and play at our locals. He later invited me to a gathering at his place to introduce myself to the others that played Calibur. Because I went, I got to meet some really cool people, participate in tournaments, and hang out with those I met through this game. So i gotta give thanks to Nori for getting my foot through the door and joining the scene.
Thank you for the interview!
