Our old hosting was decent in quality, but over the years, the cost increased and became way too high to be reasonable. I considered closing the web as the cost was hard to justify, no matter we still have pretty good visitor numbers.
Just for the info – we have about 15-20 active visitors per day; and by “active” I mean people who search the web and look up some information or read our articles. For a game as old (and unsupported on the official level) as SC6, and with SC7 announcement not even teased, I believe that’s a damn good number!
But with the help of SabinDeus, I was able to find (and with even greater help of this good man, also migrate) the web to a new and much cheaper hosting service. I hope everything will work smoothly and there will be no issues, but if you will run into anything, please leave a note under this post:
