State of Korea Aftermath: Reactions To TheKuras Tierlist

The best part of every tierlist – at least to me – is the discussion under it with insights of how players perceives characters relative strengths and weakness. And some of the thoughts brought by TheKuras tierlist were really great. Here I bring you the selection of some interesting reactions!

Thanks for explanatations.

I think Amy has weakness against pushback char.(Kilik/Cer) maybe also NM.

But she is still super strong with RedR and almost unbeatable with PurpleR.

Because of that, in my view, even with nerfs she is still strong enough to be A

Discussion about Groh:

nope not Korea, just me lol 🤣

Anyway, his strength in my opinion is that he has a high throw damage, 20~~damage Low Skills, and his Stance pressure capability is very good. (1/5)

I think how well we can use these Skill is the key to Groh's proficiency.

Therefore, I think the character's strength is exercised only when he uses the Low and grab to make crouch the opponent, expects the opponent's Vertical Attacks strategically, (3/5)

The range is not long until SC is used, and it doesn't seem to be very optimized for close combat like Cassandra and Talim.
And i don't think the TC's performance is good either. (5/5)

at i16 he can get 30ish damage with +8 into stance which is also pretty good, or 55ish damage with his new move 236K

i18 he gets 60-70 from 236B.

Yes his 44A and 44K are very important, especially after the 44K buff, mainly because you have to respect 3A+B more now. 2/X

Which is a -12 horizontal mid, but KND on NH that leads to AVN B+K forceblock which is 15% guard and +8 on guard. Groh's biggest strengths to me are his really strong neutral game and his ability to pressure your guard for huge RO or damage. Often I get guard bursts round 1. 4/X

I can usually control someone's guard and keep them red as long as I want.

He also has 44B for plus 2 and 15%

AVN [A] yes the hold one is also super good because on block it pushes you across the map, does 15% guard and its – 8 so you can SC on their turn and take it back lol

Comment on why Mina is in A tier:

tendency.
But even if it goes down a lot, I think it's a level.
I think that's how good have ability she is at present.

In the case of Voldo, there is no big difference in performance of C~F tier, so you don't have to take it too seriously. lol 🤣 (2/2)

Comment on Maxi and Hwang:

The evaluation of Hwang varies from player to player in Korea.
In my case, I've played Hwang myself and appreciate his potential and ability. 👍👍👍
Maxi thinks most Korean players are good.
And in my tier list, C~F tier doesn't make much difference in ability. 😄

This Tier List has interesting explanations and I can agree mostly (with my own bias). My disagree is Voldo (better defense/offense than Asta). NM/Setsu maybe have a bit more exploitable weakness than Azwel & Cervy. Groh can manage stance with less risks than 2B @thekura0611 https://t.co/OnYfv10zBm
