I play games under the player name Jashin (Evil God). That may be my player name, but I am just a regular old man. Thank you for having me.

What is the origin or meaning of your nickname?
プレーヤーネームの由来や意味は何ですか？
I started playing Soulcalibur around Soulcalibur 4. Around that time, a player I fought commented that I played “like an evil god”. I thought it was interesting, so the name stuck with me.
キャリバーの対戦プレイを本格的に始めたのはⅣからなんですが、
とあるプレイヤーと対戦した際に「邪神のようだ」と言われ、
面白いから乗っかって名乗るようになりました。
How did it happen that you ended up playing fighting games?
格闘ゲームを始めたきっかけを教えてください。
I don’t clearly remember, but I think it was when a friend of mine invited me to play his home console copy of Street Fighter II Turbo.

Who do you main in SC6 and why?
SC6のメインキャラは誰ですか？その理由は何ですか？
I main Hilde. I have mained Hilde since SC4. I tend to play cool girls in fighting games, and considering her characteristics and mechanics, I thought she was perfect for me.
メインキャラはヒルダです。Ⅳからメインキャラにしています。
大体の格闘ゲームをプレイする際のキャラ選びの基準として
かっこいい女性キャラ、特徴的な操作やシステム
あたりを優先しているのでぴったりはまりました。
シーズン1では居なかったのでアイヴィ使ってました。
What is your opinion regarding SC6?
SC6についてどう思いますか？
In terms of fighting games, I think it has the best character balancing. It is a one of a kind 3D fighting game, so I want it to become more popular.
格闘ゲームとしてのキャラバランスは最高だし、
唯一無二の3D武器格闘なのでもっと流行ってほしい。
If you could change one single thing about SC6 what would that be?
SC6について1つだけ変更できるとしたら、それは何でしょうか？
It would be the network system. If the Tekken 7 netcode were implemented to reduce the amount of lag and if errors during matches were to be fixed, it would be the best!
ネットワークシステムですね。
鉄拳7で実装されたようにラグが少なく、対戦時のエラーなんかがなくなったら最高です。
What do you consider to be your greatest SC6 achievement and why?
SC6の最大の成果は何だと思いますか？その理由は何ですか？
Getting 7th place at EVO JAPAN 2020. Aside from using Hilde in a tournament of that scale, I was also able to consistently stay in Top 8 during events for almost two years now.
