If you had to introduce yourself in three sentences to some SoulCalibur player who didn’t know you, what would you say?
I’m a solid Hilde main and I’ve been helping run Soulcalibur events since roughly 2014.
What is the origin or meaning of your nickname?
It was a dumb pun based on the MLP character Apple Bloom and it kinda stuck.
How did it happen that you ended up playing fighting games?
Cross and Xerick saw a bunch of us messing around with SCV at the local college and dragged us into this shit.
Who do you main in SC6 and why?
Hilde. I guess I always liked the noble types, but it just kind of became an identity for me so I stuck with her.
What is your opinion regarding SC6?
Pretty good game overall. I have my criticisms, but I’m totally willing to stick with this if it’s the final patch. I prefer the fundamental systems of SCV, but that doesn’t mean I don’t like this game.
If you could change one single thing about SC6 what would that be?
Make everything way more punishable on block.
What do you consider to be your greatest SC6 achievement and why?
I can’t really think of a single greatest SC6 achievement. It’s just been nice running things and growing with the community.
