If you had to introduce yourself in three sentences to some SoulCalibur player who didn’t know you, what would you say?
I’m a new competitive player that started playing soul calibur on its 6th edition. I don’t usually represent myself to any player formally, instead I try to leave my impression on them by having some games and showing any player where our skill gap lies between each other.
What is the origin or meaning of your nickname?
When i first started gaming I use to play on my brothers account and never had my own official name until after the year 2008 I decided to Name myself “Legit” as tribute to one of my friends that made me have a competitive nature in halo, his name was LegitIzlimpin.
How did it happen that you ended up playing fighting games?
At first I was playing arena fighters like NUNS4,sadly, then I got into Street fighter 5 and struggled very hard in it, but when soul calibur 6 came out I progressed in it way much faster and loved playing it.
Who do you main in SC6 and why?
I Now main Siegfried and Nightmare. I literally main these two characters because they carry a big sword. Nightmare is extremely fun to play and he’s broken as hell. In a competitive nature, these two characters beat certain players playstyle and characters much easier so I switch around it based on my opponent.
What is your opinion regarding SC6?
I really think soul calibur 6 is the best fighting game, not because i play it or im trying to advertise it but this game has no limits with what you do. There’s so many layers in this game where a large skill gap exists and that’s what i love, no other Fighting game brings me that satisfaction.
If you could change one single thing about SC6 what would that be?
Damn, I can only change one thing? uhh, I would nerf or delete xiangua as a whole but lets be fair and just say to make her CE i16 and adjust her combos to still be the same with it. I don’t think I even have to elaborate on why a character with two safe launchers with an i12 CE that does 70 damage and grants oki should be considered as fair.
What do you consider to be your greatest SC6 achievement and why?
My greatest achievement!? that’s one way to put me on the spot, man I suck. In Deus Ex Caleco 2 There were 96 entries, I lost my first game and defeated 9 players in a row that day( 3 or more than the winner). I have multiple tournament wins online and local but they don’t mean much to me.
My greatest achievement to me is anytime I can have people watch me on stream being toxic either with my gameplay or verbally. I love seeing chats and commentators have conflicts about the things i do or say. Whether i say im gonna spit shine ramon bald head, tbag/taunt or gaslight people to death. It helps me bring a competitive nature out of everyone so that way at the end of the day, there’s a little bit of ‘Legit’ in everyone <3.
